القاهرة – رندة نبيل رفعت
في مبادرة متميزة تجمع بين السياحة والفن، نظمّت جمعية “فوتون” للتصوير الفوتوغرافي، برعاية سفير تركيا بالقاهرة سعادة السيد صالح موطلو شن، زيارة لـ 100 مصور تركي إلى العاصمة المصرية، حيث قاموا خلال يومين بالتقاط أروع الصور للمعالم التاريخية والثقافية والمناظر الطبيعية في القاهرة، بمشاركة نخبة من المصورين المصريين.
واختُتمت الفعالية بحفل توزيع جوائز “صور القاهرة التي التقطها المصورون الأتراك”، الذي أقيم بمقر إقامة السفير التركي بالقاهرة، بحضور أكثر من 100 مصور تركي و50 مصورًا مصريًا، إلى جانب شخصيات بارزة من الوسطين الفني والثقافي المصري.
وخلال الحفل، أكد السفير صالح موطلو شن أن هذه الزيارة ستسهم بقوة في الترويج للثراء الثقافي والحضاري لمصر عبر وسائل الإعلام ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي التركية، مشيرًا إلى أن القاهرة تُعد وجهةً مثالية للطلاب والمتقاعدين الأتراك، مع توقع زيادة حركة السياحة عقب تدشين رحلات شركة “أناضول جيت” (AJet) المباشرة بين أنقرة والقاهرة اعتبارًا من 1 يونيو المقبل.
وسلط السفير الضوء على أهمية زيارة معالم القاهرة التاريخية مثل قلعة صلاح الدين الأيوبي، وجامع محمد علي باشا، ومنطقة الإمام الشافعي التي تحوي العديد من المعالم الروحية المشتركة بين التراثين التركي والمصري، داعيًا السياح الأتراك إلى اكتشاف هذه الكنوز الثقافية.
وفي كلمته، شدد السفير شن على أن هذه الفعالية تمثل جهدًا تطوعيًا لدعم السياحة الثقافية في مصر، معربًا عن أمله في تعزيز التعاون مع وزارة السياحة المصرية لدعم مبادرات مماثلة مستقبلًا.
كما أشاد السفير بالرئيس المؤسس لجمعية فوتون، جوشكون آرال، وكرّمه لدوره الرائد في الإعلام والتصوير الوثائقي، قبل أن يوزع الجوائز على الفائزين في مسابقتي “الحياة” و”التاريخ”، حيث جاءت النتائج كالتالي:
- مجال الحياة: الجائزة الأولى ليارا محمد، الثانية لربيعة جوفين، والثالثة لمصطفى الشربجي.
- مجال التاريخ: الجائزة الأولى لنور الدين بويداق، الثانية ليوسف ناصر، والثالثة لدعاء عادل.
وأكد آرال في كلمته أن مصر تحتفظ بإرث حضاري لا مثيل له عالميًا، مشيدًا بالمتحف المصري الكبير الذي سيفتتح عالميًا في يوليو المقبل، باعتباره شاهدًا على عظمة حضارة وادي النيل.
100 Turkish Photographers Capture the Beauty of Cairo in a Unique Cultural Event Sponsored by the Turkish Embassy
In a distinguished initiative combining tourism and art, 100 Turkish photographers visited Cairo under the patronage of H.E. Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen and the organization of the “FOTON” Photography Association. Over two days, they captured stunning images of Cairo’s historic landmarks, cultural treasures, and natural landscapes, alongside a number of Egyptian photographers.
The event culminated with the “Cairo Through the Eyes of Turkish Photographers” awards ceremony, held at the Turkish Ambassador’s Residence in Cairo. The ceremony was attended by over 100 Turkish photographers, more than 50 Egyptian photography enthusiasts, and numerous figures from Egypt’s artistic and cultural spheres.
In his speech during the ceremony, Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen emphasized that the visit of Turkish photographers and tourists to Cairo will have a wide-reaching impact across Turkish television screens and social media platforms, significantly contributing to promoting Egypt’s rich cultural heritage, particularly that of Cairo, in Turkey.
He highlighted Cairo as an ideal destination for Turkish students and retirees, expecting a boost in tourism following the launch of direct flights by AnadoluJet (AJet) between Ankara and Cairo, starting June 1.
The ambassador also stressed the importance of visiting Cairo’s historic sites, including the Citadel of Salah al-Din, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, the Mosque of Suleiman Pasha, and the Mamluk mosques and cemeteries. He particularly recommended visiting the Imam al-Shafi’i area, rich with spiritually significant tombs and architectural masterpieces that reflect the shared Turkish-Egyptian historical ties.
Ambassador Şen stated that this initiative aims to promote Egypt’s cultural and historical wealth through volunteer efforts and expressed his hope for further cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism to support similar activities in the future.
He also paid tribute to Coşkun Aral, founder and president of the FOTON Photography Association, acknowledging his distinguished career in television and documentary filmmaking, before presenting awards for the best photographs taken during the event.
The awards were distributed as follows:
- Life Category: First Prize – Yara Mohamed, Second Prize – Rabia Güven, Third Prize – Mustafa Sherbaji.
- History Category: First Prize – Nuraddin Boydak, Second Prize – Youssef Nasser, Third Prize – Doaa Adel.
In his remarks, Coşkun Aral emphasized Egypt’s unparalleled preservation of its ancient heritage, highlighting the significance of the upcoming opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in July, describing it as a global treasure unlike anything else in the world.
He concluded by stressing the importance of protecting history for future generations, noting that Egypt stands as an inspiring model in safeguarding cultural heritage.
