في تجسيد جديد للدور الريادي الذي تضطلع به المملكة المغربية في ترسيخ الأمن والتنمية بالقارة الإفريقية، استقبل صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس، نصره الله، بالقصر الملكي بالرباط، وزراء الشؤون الخارجية للدول الأعضاء في تحالف دول الساحل، وهم السيد كاراموكو جون ماري تراوري، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإقليمي والبوركينابيين في الخارج لبوركينا فاسو، والسيد عبد الله ديوب، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الدولي لجمهورية مالي، والسيد باكاري ياوو سانغاري، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون والنيجريين في الخارج بالحكومة الانتقالية لجمهورية النيجر.
وقد نقل الوزراء لجلالة الملك عبارات الامتنان العميق من رؤساء دولهم لما يوليه جلالته من اهتمام دائم بمنطقة الساحل، مؤكدين تثمينهم الكبير للمبادرات الملكية الرائدة التي ما فتئت تعكس حكمة القيادة المغربية ورؤيتها الاستراتيجية للنهوض بالمنطقة ودعم استقرارها.
وأعرب وزراء خارجية دول الساحل عن إشادتهم الخاصة بمبادرة جلالة الملك الرامية إلى تسهيل ولوج بلدانهم إلى المحيط الأطلسي، باعتبارها مشروعًا استراتيجيًا حيويًا يحمل في طياته آفاقًا واعدة للتنمية والاندماج الإقليمي. كما أكدوا التزامهم الكامل بالعمل على تسريع تنفيذ هذه المبادرة الطموحة.
وخلال اللقاء، قدم الوزراء الثلاثة لجلالة الملك عرضًا حول مراحل تطور البناء المؤسسي لتحالف دول الساحل، الذي يشكل إطارًا واعدًا للتعاون والتكامل بين هذه الدول في مختلف المجالات.
ويعكس هذا الاستقبال الملكي عمق الروابط الأخوية التي تجمع المملكة المغربية بدول الساحل، ويؤكد من جديد مكانة المغرب كفاعل أساسي في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية بالقارة الإفريقية.
Royal Vision Opens New Horizons: King of Morocco Receives Foreign Ministers of Sahel Alliance States to Strengthen Regional Cooperation
Rabat – In a renewed demonstration of Morocco’s unwavering commitment to African solidarity and regional stability, His Majesty King Mohammed VI received today at the Royal Palace in Rabat the Foreign Ministers of the three member states of the Sahel Alliance.
The audience was granted to Mr. Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad of Burkina Faso; Mr. Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali; and Mr. Bakary Yaou Sangaré, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigeriens Abroad of the transitional government of the Republic of Niger.
During the meeting, the ministers conveyed the sincere appreciation of their Heads of State for His Majesty’s consistent support and attention to the Sahel region. They commended the King’s visionary initiatives, which have contributed significantly to promoting social and economic development for the benefit of the region’s populations.
In particular, the ministers praised His Majesty’s strategic initiative aimed at facilitating access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean—an ambitious project with the potential to transform regional integration and boost sustainable growth. They reaffirmed their commitment to working closely to accelerate its implementation.
The ministers also updated the Sovereign on the progress achieved in establishing the institutional and operational framework of the Sahel Alliance, designed to serve as a platform for enhanced cooperation and integration among the member states.
This high-level meeting reflects the depth of historical ties and brotherhood uniting Morocco and the Sahel nations, and further underscores the Kingdom’s central role as a trusted partner in advancing peace, prosperity, and regional cooperation across the African continent.
