وزير قطاع الأعمال العام يلتقي السفير التركي بالقاهرة لبحث آفاق التعاون الاستثماري والصناعي

السفير صالح موطلو شن: نثمن جهود مصر في الإصلاح الاقتصادي ونتطلع لشراكات استراتيجية تعزز مصالح البلدين.
في إطار تعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية بين مصر وتركيا، استقبل المهندس محمد شيمي، وزير قطاع الأعمال العام، السفير صالح موطلو شن، سفير جمهورية تركيا لدى القاهرة، والوفد المرافق له، بمقر الوزارة بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة.
بحث الجانبان خلال اللقاء فرص التعاون المشترك في عدد من القطاعات ذات الأولوية، وعلى رأسها الصناعة والاستثمار، حيث استعرض الوزير محمد شيمي أبرز الفرص المتاحة في شركات قطاع الأعمال العام، خاصة في مجالات الغزل والنسيج، الأسمدة، الورق، والفنادق، مؤكدًا الانفتاح الكامل على الشراكات مع القطاع الخاص المحلي والأجنبي، والترحيب باستثمارات الشركات التركية في السوق المصرية.
وأشار شيمي إلى التسهيلات والمحفزات التي تقدمها الدولة المصرية للمستثمرين، في ظل بيئة اقتصادية جاذبة، موضحًا أن الوزارة حريصة على بناء شراكات مستدامة تحقق قيمة مضافة للطرفين، وتسهم في دعم التنمية الاقتصادية وخلق فرص عمل.
من جانبه، أعرب السفير التركي عن اعتزاز بلاده بعلاقات التعاون المتنامية مع مصر، مشيدًا بالإصلاحات الاقتصادية الجريئة التي تشهدها الدولة المصرية، وبالإمكانات الواعدة التي يزخر بها قطاع الأعمال العام، ما يفتح آفاقًا واسعة للتعاون والاستثمار في المرحلة المقبلة.
وأكد السفير شن أن هناك اهتمامًا متزايدًا من جانب الشركات التركية بتوسيع أنشطتها في مصر، في ضوء الاستقرار الاقتصادي وتحسن بيئة الأعمال، مشيرًا إلى أن بلاده تنظر إلى مصر كشريك استراتيجي في المنطقة.
واتفق الجانبان على تنظيم لقاءات ثنائية بين ممثلي الشركات من البلدين، إضافة إلى زيارات ميدانية لعدد من المصانع والشركات التابعة لوزارة قطاع الأعمال العام، بهدف التعرف المباشر على الفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة وبحث آليات التعاون المشترك.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء ضمن سلسلة من الجهود التي تبذلها وزارة قطاع الأعمال العام لتعزيز الشراكات الدولية، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون المثمر مع مختلف الدول الصديقة، في إطار خطة الدولة لدعم الاقتصاد الوطني وجذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية.
Minister of Public Enterprises Sector Meets Turkish Ambassador in Cairo to Explore Investment and Industrial Cooperation Prospects
Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen: We value Egypt’s economic reform efforts and look forward to strategic partnerships that serve the interests of both nations.
As part of efforts to strengthen economic and trade relations between Egypt and Turkey, Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of the Public Enterprises Sector, received H.E. Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Cairo, along with his accompanying delegation, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
During the meeting, both sides discussed potential avenues for joint cooperation in key priority sectors, with a particular focus on industry and investment. Minister Shimi showcased the investment opportunities available within public sector companies, especially in the fields of textiles, fertilizers, paper, and hospitality. He emphasized the Ministry’s full openness to partnerships with both local and international private sectors, and welcomed Turkish investments in the Egyptian market.
The Minister highlighted the incentives and facilities provided by the Egyptian government to investors, within a business-friendly economic environment. He affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to building sustainable partnerships that create mutual added value, support economic development, and generate job opportunities.
For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his country’s appreciation for the growing cooperative ties with Egypt. He praised Egypt’s bold economic reforms and the promising potential of its public enterprise sector, which offers broad prospects for future collaboration and investment.
Ambassador Şen noted the increasing interest among Turkish companies in expanding their operations in Egypt, in light of economic stability and improved business climate. He emphasized that Turkey views Egypt as a strategic partner in the region.
Both parties agreed to arrange bilateral meetings between representatives of companies from both countries, as well as field visits to several factories and companies affiliated with the Ministry of Public Enterprises Sector, to gain direct insight into available investment opportunities and explore mechanisms for cooperation.
This meeting comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance international partnerships and open new horizons for fruitful collaboration with friendly nations, in alignment with the state’s strategy to support the national economy and attract foreign investments.
