في تصريح صارم، وصفت الحكومة المغربية الهجمات السيبرانية الأخيرة، التي استهدفت مؤسسات حكومية حيوية، بأنها “عمل إجرامي” مُنظم تنفذه “جهات معادية” لاستهداف أمن المغرب وتشويه إنجازاته الدبلوماسية. جاء ذلك خلال الندوة الصحافية التي عقدها الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة، مصطفى بايتاس، الخميس، ردا على تسريب بيانات حساسة لآلاف المؤسسات والأفراد عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
وأوضح بايتاس أن الهجمات، التي وقعت الثلاثاء الماضي، طالت موقعَي وزارة الإدماج الاقتصادي والمقاولة الصغرى، والصندوق الوطني للضمان الاجتماعي (CNSS)، ما أدى إلى تسريب ملفات تضم معلومات شخصية ومهنية لملايين المغاربة، مشيراً إلى أن التحقيقات الأولية كشفت تلاعباً متعمداً بجزء من البيانات المنشورة لخلق بلبلة إعلامية.
ولفت المتحدث الحكومي إلى تزامن الهجمات مع تجديد الولايات المتحدة تأكيدها اعترافها بسيادة المغرب على الصحراء، ووصف الخطوة الأمريكية بأنها “انتصار دبلوماسي تاريخي”، معتبراً أن الهجمات السيبرانية محاولة يائسة لـ”التشويش على المكتسبات الوطنية”، خاصة في ظل الدعم الدولي المتزايد للموقف المغربـي.
من جهته، أعلن الصندوق الوطني للضمان الاجتماعي عن فتح تحقيق قضائي موسع بالتعاون مع السلطات المختصة، مؤكداً أن التسريبات شملت بيانات مزيفة إلى جانب معلومات حقيقية، في إشارة إلى محاولة خلط الحقائق.
كما أفادت مصادر بأن الهجمات لم تقتصر على القطاعات الحكومية، بل امتدت إلى مؤسسات مالية كبرى، مثل البنك الشعبي وبنك المغرب، ومكتب الاتصال الإسرائيلي بالرباط.
وفي رد فعل سريع، أكد بايتاس أن المؤسسات المستهدفة عززت إجراءاتها الأمنية الرقمية، ورفعت درجة اليقظة لمواجهة أي محاولات اختراق مستقبلية، مع تشديد التعاون مع الأجهزة الأمنية المتخصصة.
وأضاف: “الثقة الدولية التي يحظى بها المغرب، بفضل رؤية القيادة الملكية، تدفع بعض الأطراف إلى استهدافنا بأساليب غير مشروعة، لكننا قادرون على حماية مكتسباتنا”.
يأتي هذا الحادث في وقت تشهد فيه المملكة تصاعداً ملحوظاً في الهجمات الإلكترونية، وسط تحذيرات خبراء من تحول المنطقة إلى ساحة لـ”الحروب السيبرانية” التي تستهدف البنى التحتية الحيوية للدول.
“Morocco Accuses Hostile Entities of Orchestrated Cyberattacks Aimed at Undermining National Stability”
In a stern statement, the Moroccan government labeled recent cyberattacks targeting vital state institutions as a “criminal act” orchestrated by “hostile entities” seeking to undermine Morocco’s security and tarnish its diplomatic achievements. The remarks were made by government spokesperson Mustapha Baitas during a press briefing on Thursday, following the leak of sensitive data belonging to thousands of businesses and individuals on social media platforms.
Baitas clarified that the attacks, which occurred last Tuesday, breached the websites of the Ministry of Economic Integration, Small Business, Employment, and Skills, as well as the National Social Security Fund (CNSS)
This led to the exposure of files containing personal and professional information of millions of Moroccans. He emphasized that preliminary investigations revealed deliberate manipulation of some leaked data to fuel media confusion.
The government spokesperson highlighted the timing of the cyberattacks, coinciding with the United States’ renewed affirmation of its recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over the Sahara. He described the U.S. move as a “historic diplomatic victory,” asserting that the cyberattacks represented a desperate attempt to “distract from Morocco’s national gains,” particularly amid growing international support for the Kingdom’s stance.
Meanwhile, the CNSS announced the launch of a comprehensive judicial investigation in coordination with relevant authorities, confirming that the leaks included fabricated data mixed with authentic information—a tactic aimed at distorting facts.
Sources also revealed that the cyberattacks extended beyond government sectors, targeting major financial institutions such as Banque Populaire, Bank Al-Maghrib, and the Israeli Liaison Office in Rabat.
In a swift response, Baitas confirmed that the targeted institutions had bolstered their digital security protocols and heightened vigilance to counter future breach attempts, while strengthening collaboration with specialized cybersecurity agencies.
He added, “The international trust Morocco has earned, thanks to the foresight of the royal leadership, has provoked certain parties to target us through illegitimate means. However, we are fully capable of safeguarding our achievements.”
This incident comes amid a noticeable surge in cyberattacks across the Kingdom, with experts warning of the region’s transformation into a battleground for “cyber warfare” targeting nations’ critical infrastructure.
