في خطوة تؤكد تنامي الدعم الدولي لمغربية الصحراء، جددت جمهورية إستونيا موقفها الثابت والداعم لمخطط الحكم الذاتي الذي تقدم به المغرب سنة 2007، معتبرة إياه “أساسًا جادًا وواقعيًا وذا مصداقية” للتوصل إلى حل سياسي متوافق عليه للنزاع الإقليمي حول الصحراء المغربية.
جاء ذلك خلال مؤتمر صحفي مشترك عقده وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج، السيد ناصر بوريطة، مع نظيره الإستوني ماركوس تساهكنا، اليوم الثلاثاء في العاصمة تالين.
ودعت إستونيا المجتمع الدولي إلى دعم هذا التوجه البناء، بما ينسجم مع الدينامية الدولية التي يقودها جلالة الملك محمد السادس، والتي تكرس سيادة المغرب الكاملة على أقاليمه الجنوبية وتعزز مكانته كشريك موثوق ومؤثر إقليميًا ودوليًا.
ويتماشى هذا الموقف مع روح القرار الأممي رقم 2756 الصادر عن مجلس الأمن، الذي أشاد بالزخم المتواصل حول قضية الصحراء ودعا إلى البناء عليه من أجل تحقيق تقدم ملموس نحو الحل.
هذا الدعم الجديد يُعد تأكيدًا إضافيًا على صدقية المبادرات المغربية، وعلى التقدير الدولي المتزايد لجهود المملكة في ترسيخ الاستقرار وتعزيز التنمية في القارة الإفريقية.
Estonia Reaffirms Strong Support for Morocco’s Sovereignty over the Sahara, Hails Autonomy Plan as Serious and Credible Solution
In a move that reflects the growing international support for the Moroccan Sahara, the Republic of Estonia has reaffirmed its steadfast backing of Morocco’s Autonomy Plan, presented in 2007, describing it as “a serious, credible, and realistic basis” for a mutually agreed political solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.
This position was expressed during a joint press conference held on Tuesday in Tallinn between Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, and his Estonian counterpart, Mr. Margus Tsahkna.
Estonia also called on the international community to endorse this constructive approach, in line with the international momentum led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which firmly affirms Morocco’s sovereignty over its southern provinces and strengthens the Kingdom’s standing as a reliable and influential regional and global partner.
This renewed support aligns with the spirit of UN Security Council Resolution 2756, which welcomed the positive momentum surrounding the Sahara issue and urged continued efforts to build on it for tangible progress.
Estonia’s position stands as further validation of Morocco’s credible initiatives and the Kingdom’s growing international recognition for its role in promoting regional stability and fostering sustainable development across the African continent.
