AlAsoomi and the Arab Parliament’s delegation learned about the Chinese renaissance in the field of advanced technology and modern industries, and called for the transfer and localization of this experience to Arab countries
The President of the Arab Parliament H.E. Mr. Adel bin AbdulRahman AlAsoomi and his accompanying delegation visited Huawei corporate specialized in modern technology, and visited BYD cars factory in the capital Beijing, as part of the official visit to the People’s Republic of China in response to the invitation extended by the Chairman of the Parliament of China.
During these two visits, AlAsoomi and the Arab Parliament’s delegation were briefed on the remarkable Chinese experience in the field of advanced technology and modern industries, where they listened to a detailed explanation of Huawei’s role in the field of manufacturing devices based on the latest advanced technology in the world.
And during his visit to BYD cars factory, AlAsoomi and the Arab Parliament’s delegation were briefed on the details of the factory’s manufacturing process, which depends more than 90% on robots, in addition to the different levels of cars types offered by the factory adapted to various income levels.
During these two visits, AlAsoomi commended the advanced Chinese renaissance in these fields, and particularly valued China’s interest in scientific research, which a very large proportion is allocated to these vital fields, calling on China to expand its cooperation with Arab States in these fields and transfer its experience to them, adding that China is one of the countries that does not have a monopoly on its technology industry but transfers it to other countries notably developing countries, stressing that this is an opportunity for Arab States to transfer and localize modern technology industry.
