صالح موطلو شن يُشيد بتوافق تركيا ومصر على تحقيق الأمن الإقليمي ويُعلي من رسالة عيد الطفولة كرمز للسلام والأمل
احتفلت سفارة الجمهورية التركية بالقاهرة، اليوم، بعيد الطفولة والسيادة الوطنية الموافق 23 أبريل، في فعالية مميزة جمعت بين البهجة والرسائل الإنسانية العميقة، بمشاركة أطفال وأسر من الجنسيات التركية والمصرية والفلسطينية، إلى جانب حضور لافت لعدد من الإعلاميين المصريين.
وشهد الاحتفال، الذي نظمته السفارة بالتعاون مع سفارة دولة فلسطين بالقاهرة وجمعية الوفاء للتنمية، حضور نحو 130 طفلًا من جنسيات مختلفة: 60 طفلًا فلسطينيًا، 30 طفلًا تركيًا، و40 طفلًا مصريًا، حيث تم توزيع الهدايا عليهم وسط أجواء من الفرح والتآخي.
وفي كلمته الافتتاحية، ألقى سعادة السفير صالح موطلو شن كلمة مؤثرة استعاد فيها رمزية هذا اليوم التاريخي الذي يصادف الذكرى 105 لتأسيس مجلس الأمة التركي الكبير، والعيد الذي أهداه مؤسس الجمهورية، الغازي مصطفى كمال أتاتورك، إلى أطفال العالم في عام 1924، ليصبح بذلك أول عيد عالمي للأطفال.
وأكد السفير شن أن “عيد الطفولة والسيادة الوطنية” يعكس إيمان الجمهورية التركية العميق بأن مستقبل الأمة في أيدي أطفالها، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا اليوم يجمع أطفال تركيا ومصر وفلسطين على رسالة واحدة: الأمل في مستقبل يسوده السلام والعدل والكرامة.
وأضاف: “أهنئ جميع أطفالنا وأطفال العالم بعيدهم. حين نجتمع اليوم كأطفال من دول شقيقة وصديقة، نُجدد التزامنا بحق كل طفل في الحياة واللعب والتعليم، وبمستقبل خالٍ من الخوف والحروب”.
وتوقف السفير التركي في كلمته عند المأساة الإنسانية التي يشهدها قطاع غزة، معبرًا عن حزنه العميق لعشرات الآلاف من الأطفال الذين فقدوا حياتهم، مؤكدًا أن “دعوة أطفال فلسطين للمشاركة اليوم هي رسالة تضامن قوية من أطفال تركيا ومصر مع أشقائهم الفلسطينيين”.
وقال في نبرة حازمة:
“عندما يموت الأطفال الفلسطينيون في غزة، تتألم قلوبنا. نقولها بوضوح: لا ينبغي أن يموت الأطفال. لا يمكن لأي ضمير إنساني أن يبرر قتل الأطفال… هذه وحشية لا تصنع سلامًا ولا أخوة.”
كما أعرب عن أمله في نجاح الجهود المصرية والقطرية لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة، واستئناف دخول المساعدات الإنسانية، وإنهاء معاناة المدنيين.
وأكد السفير شن وجود توافق تام بين تركيا ومصر حول أهمية تحقيق الاستقرار والأمن الإقليميين كمدخل رئيسي للتنمية والازدهار، مشيرًا إلى استمرار المشاورات الثنائية بين البلدين بشأن مختلف القضايا الإقليمية، لا سيما فلسطين، والسودان، وليبيا.
وختم كلمته بتأكيد مشترك مع الرئيس التركي السيد رجب طيب أردوغان، قائلاً:
“نحلم ونأمل أن يعيش الأطفال الفلسطينيون والإسرائيليون في سلام وأمان وكرامة، إخوة في أوطانهم، بعيدًا عن الحروب والدمار. هذه رسالتنا الإنسانية والأخلاقية للعالم.”

Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen Hails Turkish-Egyptian Alignment on Regional Stability and Elevates April 23 as a Symbol of Peace and Hope
The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Cairo celebrated National Sovereignty and Children’s Day on April 23 with a vibrant and heartfelt event that brought together Turkish, Egyptian, and Palestinian children and their families, along with a notable presence of Egyptian journalists.
Organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Palestine in Cairo and the Wafaa Association for Development, the celebration welcomed around 130 children: 60 Palestinian, 30 Turkish, and 40 Egyptian. Gifts were distributed to the children, who enjoyed a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen delivered a powerful speech highlighting the historical significance of this day, which marks the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
He recalled that this day, gifted by the founder of the Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, to the world’s children in 1924, is the first children’s holiday in the world—a testament to Turkey’s belief in children as the guardians of its future.
“This celebration reflects our deep faith that the future of our nation lies in the hands of our children,” Ambassador Şen stated, emphasizing that the day unites children from Turkey, Egypt, and Palestine around a shared vision of peace, dignity, and hope.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all children in Turkey and around the world. Today’s gathering is a reminder of their dreams for a better, safer, and more prosperous future.”
The Ambassador expressed profound sorrow for the tens of thousands of children who have lost their lives in Gaza. “Inviting Palestinian children to join this celebration is a strong symbol of solidarity from Turkish and Egyptian children with their peers in Palestine,” he said.
With conviction, he declared:
“When Palestinian children die in Gaza, our hearts ache. We say it clearly: no child should die. No conscience, no humanity, can justify the death of children. This is cruelty, injustice, and inhumanity. Brotherhood and security cannot be built on death.”
Ambassador Şen expressed hope that the ceasefire negotiations led by Egypt and Qatar will yield positive outcomes, ensure the resumption of humanitarian aid, and bring an end to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
He also affirmed the complete alignment between Turkey and Egypt in their shared objective of achieving regional security and stability as a foundation for development and prosperity.
He noted that bilateral consultations between the two nations on critical regional issues—including Palestine, Sudan, and Libya—are ongoing and uninterrupted.
In closing, Ambassador Şen echoed the sentiments of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying:
“All children—Black and white, Eastern and Western, Southern and Northern—deserve joy, education, and a bright future. Turkish, Egyptian, Palestinian, and Israeli children alike.
Our only hope is that Palestinian and Israeli children can live together in peace, safety, and dignity—in their homes, on their lands, in their own sovereign states.”
